The Holy Mountain
Last night Cat and I watched The Holy Mountain.
It is, to say the least, a strange film.
But is it a good film? In situations like this it’s pretty hard to say. At first I was laughing at it, thinking it was trying way too hard and was not nearly as smart as it thought it was. As the film progressed it seemed to me it actually had something to say and ends up with a pretty hopeful message.
As the trailer states, the film is outside criticism or review.
It’s a beautiful, disturbing, joyous film. I think. Maybe.
